To read the start of Lucy, Cass, and Lukes story you'll need to pop over to SamelaRita's blog and read Luke and Lucy. Trapped, can't get out ... need to get home ... Lucy! ...... "Cough, cough ... Lucy?" "Here Cass." "Where?" "I don't know, the last thing I remember is the hospital." "Cass, I can't find the children!" "We'll find them together." "Are we flying?" "I think we're floating" "Look, there's our home." "Cass what is he doing? Why are the children on the ground?!?" "It looks like he's arranging something." "Why can't I read his phone." "Finally!" "Lucy, I don't remember so many weeds." "Neither do I." Uncle Luke can I go fishing? Is your homework done? No. Homework, then R&R. What's R&R? Huh, oh yeah, sorry Tom. It means rest and relaxation. "Why do they sound so muffled Cass?" "Shhh, love don't cry so. I don't know" "No, oh noooo ....... Cass!" "I ... I'm sorry Lucy, I think we've faded." "Does this mean we're ghosts?" "Hm, maybe, that would explain why I haven't been able to touch Luke or Tom. Let alone stop Luke from selling my truck." "And why I couldn't stop him from rearranging the furniture." "What is he doing now?" "Leaving I think. Want me to try to go with him Lucy?" "Please." "Your back that felt like an eternity. The sitter wasn't very good. How did it go?" "Not good, I almost faded into the black several times. I'm not sure that we're supposed to leave the house." "I'm so glad you made it back. I don't think I could hold it together if I lost you again. So what did Luke do?" "He sold the frogs Tom gave him, bought some groceries. Then he went down the block and bought a book on gardening." "Luke garden?" "There's more." "There is?" "Yeah, he tried to flirt with Jennifer Burb, in front of her daughter no less." "Sigh, he would." "Lucy careful what are you doing?" "Oh, Cass I'm so mad. He's not cuddling any of them. They need hugs." "Shh, Lucy he's never been around them for more than an hour or two." "Whoah Lucy come back." "Gasp, Cass? ... Where are you" "I'm here love, I don't know what you did but you almost faded completely away." "I could see them proper, Oh Cass I could even tug the sheet a little and stroke Tom's hair." "Cass?" "Hmm, what love?" "Why do you think were here, instead of moved on?" ... ... "Cass?!?" "Promise not to laugh." "Yes Cass, I promise." "I think we have unfinished ..." "... business, the kids! Oh Cass I think you're right." "Oh no!" "Well we knew he couldn't cook. Breath Lucy." "Look he's already got it out." "My oven, he ruined my oven!" "Relax Lucy." "I baked Tom and Abigail their first cakes in that oven." "Those are our memories love. Look, even though he's tired he's made Tom laugh about the ruined macaroni." "Everyone's asleep, let's get some rest too Lucy" "He doesn't look rested does he?" "No he doesn't." "What's with all of the books?" "Tom, he set out more toddler books for Abigail." "Where is he?" "School." "This is not going well! Why doesn't he hug and play with them?" "Maybe he doesn't realize that babies need the attention." "Hug the children! Play with them! Hug Them!!!" "Breath Lucy, I've tried, he can't hear us." Mister? Mister Tom's Uncle. What?!? ... Sorry kid, I'm exhausted. Um, I know I'm just a kid, but I think babies need hugs to not cry ... at least that's what my mom did with my cousin and she had a pony named colic. "Did she just call colic a pony?" "Cass, that was to funny." ... "Cass, do you think she heard me?" "Maybe, but it was like the other night. You almost completely faded away." "Cass! How are you doing that?" "Doing what?" "You're solid, well sort of solid." "Hunh? I don't know. I was relaxing thinking how much fun Tom and I had with the books." "Relaxing?" "Yeah, but I'm getting really tired." "Of all the times for him to go poof." Mrs. Burb, thanks for not hanging up on me. "Now why did he call Jennifer Burb.?" Dragon architecture, got it. Thank you very much for your help and suggestions, Mrs. Burb. Again I apologize for my conduct earlier this week. "Lucy?" "Welcome back sleepy head." "What happened?" "You turned into a cloud of gas and drifted out of sight." ... "But I could still feel you nearby." "How long was I gone? A month?" Giggle "No silly just a few hours. He hired a contractor." "With what money?" "The money from your truck. It's far from fancy, but I think he's learning. Tom likes the shower, and there's even a radio now." "I see a new stove." growling "Yes, I saw!" "Did he just play with the babies?" "Yes, and I think it's sinking in that he gets better naps when they're happy from hugs." Here's how the lot looked day one before I rearranged furniture. The house is on a 30x40, because it was out away from town proper. I'm playing on Rflong's populated version of Legacy Island III. Here is how the house is looking so far. Part of the outside bathroom is incorporated into the new side space. The big barn door got sold off in favor of a regular size double door, so they could reclaim some of the floor space in front of the door. I'll get more pictures of the outside, which is now weed free, next time I'm in game.
