Over the winter holiday season I added a few more packs, including toddler stuff to my game, plus found a few new cute lots. So Baylee, an aspiring artist, is getting her own turn at renovating a house. The cabin Baylee and Estevan will be renovating is "The Payette" by simmer CGrindele, and has been placed on a 40x30 lot in Windenburg countryside titled summer home. Baylee celebrated her transition from teen to young adult, without witnesses, after her mom, Kaylynn, made a cake for her. Afterwards Baylee, her mom, and several friends went out to the festival of hi-jinks. Exhausted after watching the fireworks everyone went home. The next day Baylee called her old school chum Estevan (randomly generated npc that Baylee has known since childhood) and invited him over. Without checking with her mom first Baylee invited Estevan to move in, which he agreed to without hesitation. A joking "maybe you should find your own place" as Baylee's mom interrupted their first kiss got Baylee thinking. As she worked on a painting, she contemplated how much her mom had changed their home from nothing but an outlined floor plan to a home. All while being a stay at home and work from home self employed sim. She did a real estate check. which was followed by the hard part convincing Estevan that they could make it work in Windenburg. It wasn't easy, but Baylee managed to convince Estevan that this would be good for them as young adults. Especially as neither of them would be attending university. "You already know how to code, you don't need a fancy piece of embossed paper to create great software that people need and want." Baylee pointed out. With Estevan finally convinced Baylee contacted Dragon Reality. The one thing they hadn't factored for was moving in the middle of the night during a storm. They were grateful for the two camp cots, because even though they are very good friends, they aren't sure yet if they are ready for that change in their relationship. Baylee hung the confident emotional painting that she had finished before the move on the wall, and Estevan sold his old primary school homework online for 1 simolean. Their adventure in Windenburg as self employed sims begins.

I can see why she'd want to move out for sure. Her mom needs some boundaries. Best of luck to Baylee and Estevan at their new place.

CategoriesRules With Notes
All rules in bold are Simmer SamelaRita's original rules, anything in red italic are my notes for adjustments for the s4 mechanics. What’s a renovacy? It’s a renovation-legacy. The aim is to renovate the dilapidated living quarters your sims have found themselves in. Before the youngest child becomes an adult. The rules are simple. The renovating rules. For people who like scoring things, you can score the rooms: add up the points on the furniture for environment, energy, comfort, fun and stress relief. Hunger, bladder and hygiene don’t count. A total of 10 gives you a level 1 room, 20 a level 2 and so on. Garden area: if there are plants here that you want to get rid of, you can sell them, but you can only spend the money on fences or walls or other plants. The goal for the garden is to have it fenced and gated (to keep the children safe). You can score a garden like the rooms though, by adding things to it. Building rules. Creating a family rules. |
